  • Reducing down to a zero sugar diet

    Hi all,

Bit of a follow on question from "are you eating too much".

If you are looking to gradually go from a high sugar to zero sugar diet without significant withdrawal symptoms, how would you go about this gradually?

I have an 8 month time frame to achieve this in.

Do you mean carbs in general or sugar, as in sweet things?

During the course itself the only form of carb is brown rice.
      ??????
Currently i eat too many sweet things, I'm guessing that losing these are what will most likely cause heavy withdrawal symptoms if not done correctly?

Thank you for the advice. What have you found to be the best healthy fat foods to help?

Salmon, animal fat, butter, eggs...if you are going vegan, then olives, nuts, avocados

I went cold turkey last year and had a headache for about a week! The advice to reducing systematically is on the money, i really should have thought about this at the time!!

Thank you for the feedback. Headaches whilst training 8 hours a day would not be a good mix!
